Some shops and restaurants accept cash, but far from all. In Sweden, most people pay by card, even for smaller amounts.
Do you really need cash? In Sweden we mostly pay with card. If you still want to withdraw cash, the nearest ATM is located in Visby Galleria, Östercentrum.
Do you really need to exchange money? We recommend that you pay by card. If you still want to exchange money, there is a small kiosk at Österport that does it.
Some places accept Euros or dollars, but most do not. Be prepared to get change in Swedish kronor. We recommend paying by card.
